Watershed
WISE Awards
The Watershed WISE Award
The Clayton County
Water Authority and Clayton County Transportation and Development Department,
under the Greenspace and Watershed Initiative, developed the Watershed WISE
award to recognize development projects that protect the integrity of the water
resources in Clayton County. The
solution to water quality challenges requires teamwork between local
governments, businesses, and citizens. Clean
water is everybody’s business. The
Watershed WISE award intends to acknowledge those individuals and/or groups,
whose efforts in water quality protection have benefited Clayton County water
bodies.
The Watershed WISE awards will be presented to
development (or redevelopment) projects in Clayton County that are
substantially completed and demonstrate considerable efforts and creativity
toward the protection of Clayton County’s water resources. Awards will be given based on the following
categories: Watershed Stewardship and Innovation in Watershed
Protection.
